Sadly, MANY "friends" and "family" members are too wrapped up in their own lives to care about the elderly
One day they might and by then they'll be dead, but you can bet they'll be talking up their loved one at their funeral!
And if the elderly complains about it while they're living the "friend" or "family member" will respond with, "Stop trying to guilt-trip me."
Remember elderly person...Their treatment of you says nothing about you, but it speaks volumes about them
"According to the National Institute on Aging the health risks of prolonged isolation are equivalent to smoking 15 cigarettes a day."
A person needs to go and be with others where they're celebrated
